In January 2015 MidAmerican Aerospace purchased the 16-acre site of a Kmart store that had been recently shuttered. Renovation on the 117,000 S.F. building began in February 2015 and a transition from its current 45,000 S.F. building is planned for late Spring 2016. The re-purposed building will include 10,000 square-feet of Offices, a 7,000 square-foot Fitness Center & locker room, and 100,000 square-feet of warehouse dedicated to Shipping & Receiving, Processing, and Inventory storage. Featured improvements include: LED and solar lighting, PoE (power over Ethernet), an Ultra Narrow Aisle Wire-Guided Picker System, and an 8,000 square-foot climate controlled mezzanine.
