Nancy is a highly experienced professional with deep roots in western Kansas. She relocated to Iowa in 1978 and pursued her passion for business by earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her career trajectory has been marked by significant achievements, most notably her integral role as Chief Financial Officer at MidAmerican Aerospace since its founding in August 2004.

Nancy’s journey in the aerospace industry began long before MidAmerican Aerospace, with her first major role in Mark’s previous company, Intertrade Ltd., which she joined in 1986. During her time there, she played a pivotal part in the company’s success and stayed on for two years following its acquisition by Rockwell Collins in 1999. When Mark launched MidAmerican Aerospace, Nancy was his first call, bringing her wealth of experience to oversee critical functions such as accounts payable, receivables, payroll, contract validation, and building operations. Her leadership has been key in steering the company through its early growth stages and ensuring its financial stability and operational efficiency.

Beyond her contributions to MidAmerican Aerospace, Nancy is a respected figure in the aviation industry. She has served as a dedicated member and past Chairperson of the Forius NACM Aviation Group, where she made significant contributions to the aviation credit community. In recognition of her exceptional service, she was honored with the prestigious Barbara Vega award by the NACM North Central Aviation Group in 2011.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Nancy is deeply committed to her community and faith. She actively serves on her church's Finance Committee, offering her financial expertise to guide the church’s operations. Family is at the heart of her life; she is the proud mother of two adult sons and a devoted grandmother to five grandchildren. Outside of her professional and family responsibilities, Nancy enjoys maintaining a balanced and active lifestyle, engaging in activities like walking, biking, practicing yoga, and staying physically fit. Her dedication, both in her career and personal life, exemplifies her well-rounded approach to success and fulfillment.
